Summer Palace Collection
A beautiful collection of contemporary chinoiserie designs based on Chinese & Eastern decoration which became popular in the western world in the 18th and 19thcenturies. The collection contains elegant and elaborate garden scenes in full colour together with delicate conversational pieces, including a charming landscape in subtle monochromatic tones reminiscent of traditional hand painted Chinese scrolls.
Suzhou Garden Collection
An authentic collection of beautiful traditional scenic wall coverings that transport us back 2000 years to Suzhou’s scholarly gardens, illustrating the most refined forms of garden art. Designs in this collection evoke a time period back in the 18th century where western and eastern cultures mixed to create the most beautiful interior designs that graced palaces throughout Europe. Colours are traditional, soft and matt and look both exceptional and authentic printed on grass cloth & sanded paper. These designs, always in demand, are truly timeless.
Zen Collection
This contemporary chinoiserie collection uses decorative motifs inspired by traditional Chinese, Korean & Japanese artistic culture. In these beautiful decorative wall coverings scenes and colours are simplified and subdued, creating a sophisticated contemporary look for a relaxing and peaceful environment. Patterns in the Zen collection are designed to fit both contemporary and traditional settings.
Xanadu Collection
Patterns in this collection are inspired by traditional chinoiserie designs with a greater modern western influence. They are designed to repeat in a similar way to patterns popular in 18th century European palaces. Motifs chosen for the Xanadu collection derive from porcelain, silk and lacquerware objects of desire that were imported into Europe from China and Japan during the 18th century. Using decorative iconographies Xanadu creates a contemporary international collection that will leave a lasting impression. All designs in this collection are offered in two scales.
